HAPPY FRIDAY! 🥳️
Hope you've all had a decent week and smashed it.
This week in the agency has been incredibly busy, when I sat down on Sunday planning the week ahead I was thinking this is going to be a slog.
There were a bunch of big, meaty, (and sometimes annoying) tasks that I didn't think I'd have enough time to get done this week.
But here we are, it's Friday and I'm pleased to say, even with some additional curveballs and new enquiries coming in... had a pretty productive week and crossed 99% off my list!
If you've got a few big projects coming up and are dragging your knuckles and procrastinating on them, just start with some baby steps.
What is literally the smallest thing you can do to progress on that big scary thing?
Once you break things down into much smaller, more achievable tasks it doesn't seem so bad.
And if you just get cracking on a few tasks and start crossing them off the list, it seems to give you a weird power and momentum to keep going.
Never under-estimate the power of momentum!
Now if one of those big, scary projects for you and your business is to 'make more of an effort with marketing', 'learn how to use social media advertising effectively' or even just 'be more productive' then here are a bunch of baby steps for you to take this weekend:
Have a play with Answerthepublic.com to find out what your target audience are searching for on Google to get some new ideas for content
Read the first chapter of Sabri Suby's 'Sell Like Crazy' book to see how the best in the world are utilising digital marketing to sell anything
Learn about the Facebook Pixel and put it on your website to start tracking visitors and their behaviour
Use the free trial of this scheduling tool which allows people to search for space in your diary and book in (it's such a time-saver stopping that back and forth of 'when can you do a call?')
Create an automated email sequence to follow up with leads and enquiries while you sleep (we use this one, it's really easy to use and has a free trial too!)
Check out @George_Mack on Twitter, his simple mental models will help you make better decisions, his guest appearances on Modern Wisdom are incredible watch ep 1 here)
Get a FREE tailored, social media advertising strategy with advice + context delivered to you in a bitesize video reply from yours truly 😉
I'm not saying you need to do all of this, try 1 or 2 and that is still progress!
